Politically Incorrect – Stephanie Chaves
On a formal level, the drawings of Stephanie Chaves have such diverse references that they expose everything from the ludic to the real. She is the illustrator of the grotesque, the irreverent, what no one dares to say. Her work bothers many, but it has been a window to educate and encourage people to talk about sex openly.
In a society where people fear being politically incorrect, everyone is silent. Stephanie refuses silences and speaks peculiarly, and her illustrations have caused discomfort and won many opponents, in addition to overwhelming positive reactions. The negative ones help in the work's quest to educate a society in development.
