There appears to be a divide between art viewed inside museums and art made and viewed in city streets, a division in regard to the veracity or value of a work of art. Visual artist Alejandro Ramírez works inside this divide. He has based his artistic practice in less-traditional mediums, such as the music he composes as a DJ in his project Jalamelule. But the attention he places on action itself is what ultimately shapes his work.
